Avalanche danger in the mountains of Almaty

Almaty Emergency Situations Department warns about avalanche danger in the mountains in the vicinity of the city, highlighting the route to Bogdanovich Glacier (just above Talgar Pass).

We would like to add that according to forecasts warm weather will remain in Almaty until the end of 2023, the probability of avalanches is high, we recommend to refrain from hiking in the mountains.
